This charging cable has a Type 2 female connector on one end of the cable, and an open end at the other end. This cable can be used in tethered charging stations.

Attention: You cannot connect a blue or red commando plug to this pigtail and charge from a commando socket. It can only be used in combination with a charging station!

The cable has 5 x 6mm² conductors, allowing 3 x 32A current, which represents a charging capacity of 22 Kw. The price difference with a weaker 3 x 16A cable is so small that we think you are better off with this top model. In case you switch to a bigger electric car or install a more performant charging infrastructure, you won't need to upgrade your cable.
It is of course perfectly possible to charge at 16 or 32A single phase or 3-phase with this cable!

We don't use the typical Chinese cable, but a high quality European brand cable, that is 20% lighter and thinner while being more durable! The connectors have rustfree contacts.

Don't forget to choose the right length when ordering. It is better to have 1 meter too long than 10cm too short! The length of the EV cable is measured including the plugs (male/ female) on either end of the EV cable. When the charging point is on the other side of the car's chargeport, you really need a minimum of 4 meter to be safe.
